Asus Live L1 comes as a smartphone that
targets entry level. This can be seen from the price and specifications. Asus
Live L1 comes with different memory choices, of course with different selling
prices. For 3GB RAM with an internal 32 price that is priced at Rp1.6 million,
while 2 GB RAM, with 16 internal prices sold for Rp1.3 million. For the new one, Asus puts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425
processor. Based on measurements using the Antutu Benchmark application, the
score obtained by Zenfone Live L1 is 40644. Asus's battery power for this
latest device is quite large, with a capacity of 3,000 mAh. What is the
performance of the Asus Live L1 smartphone, following the reviews
Design
Overall, the Zenfone Live L1 body is
comfortable to hold. Why? Because the body of this handphone is quite light in
the hand. This smartphone weighs 140 grams. The smartphone body made of plastic
is also not slippery when held. Overall,
the physical appearance of this smartphone is very simple, unfortunately, Asus Zenfone Live L1, there is
no fingerprint to access it.
Unlike the Zenfone Max Pro M1, this cell phone has a speaker and micro USB plug on
the bottom and a 3.5mm audio plug at the top. This construction is quite
common, though not as practical as putting everything on one side (at the
bottom). Next, the Zenfone Live L1 supports dual SIM and micro SD cards.
Configure it the same as Max Pro M1. Two SIM slots and one micro SD. I found
the SIM card position not as good as the Max
Pro. Hopefully, this only relates to my
card pieces.
Software
and Interface
Although it is classified as an
entry-level smartphone, ASUS has immersed Android 8.0 Oreo with a little feel
of the ASUS UI interface. On the official website of ASUS mentioned that
Android 8.0 is a lightweight version or Android Oreo Go Edition that can run on
entry-level smartphones or with small RAM
and memory capacity. The ASUS ZenFone Live L1 is no longer like the previous
ASUS smartphone, which comes with lots of bloatware. This time only a few
default applications and some can be deleted.
In it,
we found there are some default applications that are ASUS features and found
on other latest ASUS smartphones released this year, such as Power Master in
the Mobile Manager application that contains customizations to make smartphone
batteries more efficient. However, the most interesting thing for us is the
game mode or what is called the Game Genie on the latest ASUS smartphone. This
feature will be present when ASUS ZenFone Live L1 is used to play games. Game
Genie contains several features such as locking game applications as the main
application and eliminating telephone or social media notifications that will
disrupt the game.
Besides this feature can also improve
performance when the game feels heavy. There is also a feature to record your
game action by connecting directly to social media to do live streaming. We
didn't expect if this smartphone was still created by ASUS to play games.
Screen
The ASUS Zenfone Live L1 screen is a
5.5-inch IPS LCD screen. This screen has an HD+
1440 x 720-pixel resolution with a ratio
of 18: 9. According to current standards. The screen sharpness is
"only" ~ 293 PPI. The use of
this aspect ratio certainly makes this smartphone screen feel very spacious,
both for everyday use and for watching videos. Screen resolution that is high
enough also supports watching 720p quality videos.
Camera
The rear camera of the Zenfone Live L1
has 13MP (f / 2.0) quality with PDAF. While the front camera has 5MP quality (f
/ 2.4). equipped with soft light LED
lights to provide more natural light in dark conditions. Asus also includes
several modes to support the front camera, such as Night HDR to take photos at
night, Portrait to take selfies with bokeh effects, and Beauty to correct
facial features that are considered lacking. This smartphone is also equipped
with a face lock feature as a security feature. Unfortunately, this feature is
only responsive in very bright rooms and in direct sunlight. Besides that, there are also various modes that can be
used starting from Auto, HDR Pro, Beautification, Portrait Mode, Panorama, and
Time Lapse.
Audio
For audio,
there is no problem from the audio side for communication. Both the microphone
and speaker work well. Clear and clear. As for multimedia, the sound is also
loud. Of course, because there is an
AudioWizard feature that allows us to adjust sound preferences along with the
equalizer.
Sim
Slot
Asus Zenfone Live L1 has three sim
slots, with three slots that make it easy for users who have three numbers and
are reluctant to bring more than two smartphones. This is based on the fact
that typical Indonesians have more than one number while still using slots to
increase storage capacity.
Battery
Life
Asus provides the Zenfone Live L1 with
a 3,000 mAh battery which is claimed to last 28 days in standby mode. From the
experience of using this smartphone for normal use, the battery can last up to
a day, not only that this smartphone only drains 18% of battery life when used
to watch movies with a duration of 1.5 hours.
